Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy outlines how Bueno Law Corp. (“Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website or services. By using our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following personal information:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Information you voluntarily provide through our contact or intake forms
  • Usage data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited (collected automatically)

For clients who have signed an engagement agreement with our Firm, we also collect immigration case identifiers necessary to represent you, including:

  • USCIS Receipt Numbers (see notice below)
  • Alien Registration Numbers (A-Numbers)
  • Other government-assigned case identification numbers

USCIS Receipt Numbers are classified as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) under this Privacy Policy.

A USCIS Receipt Number (also known as a case receipt number) is a unique identifier assigned by USCIS upon acceptance of a filed immigration petition or application. Each receipt number is tied directly to a specific individual’s case and can be used to retrieve sensitive immigration case status information.

How we use Receipt Numbers:

  • Receipt numbers collected from clients under a signed engagement agreement are used exclusively to query case status updates through the USCIS Case Status Online API and related USCIS case-tracking systems.
  • These queries allow us to monitor the current processing status of pending petitions and applications on your behalf, enabling timely legal advice and action.
  • Receipt numbers are never shared with third parties for marketing, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to your active immigration matter.
  • Access to receipt numbers is restricted to authorized Firm personnel directly handling your case.

The USCIS Case Status API is an official government service. Our use of this API is governed by USCIS terms of service and our professional obligations as immigration practitioners.
